Very impressed with hote.

Hotel had just the amenities I needed for my short (5 day) stay in Canberra. Overall, staff was friendly and helpful. However, one day (a Sunday) my room was not made up. One of the desk clerks was not eager to help me get information on local public bus service. She kept insisting that I call a cab to get to local attractions. I got the information from another other desk clerk.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

Most local attractions can be reached either by public buses (which are excellent) or by walking since Canberra is not a large city. The War Memorial (which includes Australia’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier) is a "must see" attraction but a visitor should set aside several hours to apppreciate it.
