Love the Vistaa!
This was our second year staying at the Vistas on the Gulf. We just love it! A little pricey but love the fact there is no housekeeping so you dont have to lock your stuff everytime you leave the room. Love the in room laundry. LOVE TO STAY HERE. Nice and quiet. The rooms along the road are a little noisy with traffic. Will definately go back.
Traveller's tip
Love Crabby Bills, PJs Seafood for dinner and of course the Paradise Grill in Pass-a-grille for breakfast.

Nice place right on the beach.
It was nice to be in a place where you cannot hear people going up and down the hall all night long. We could not hear the family next door unless we were outside, and they had 3 kids! Walking distance to grocery store, drug store and restaurants.
Traveller's tip on dining
Gigis restaurant was excellent.

Pretty Good Choice
Pretty satisfactory stay. The "den" was actually a second small bedroom with doors so it was perfect for our 2 boys. Pool was smaller than at other hotels but there are only about 40 units in this resort so the ratio is actually not bad. The 2 full bathrooms and washer/dryer were new to us and now I cant imagine staying somewhere without these. There were little extras that were nice that added to our trip - beach chairs in our unit to use, sand toys and pool toys at the pool for all to use. We were almost the farthest unit from the ocean but since its on an angle, you still get a pretty decent view. Friendly staff - but be warned that the office is only opened daily from 9-5 so if you walk out of your unit without your keycard(yes, we did it once) and it is after 5 - there is a charge to come out and let you back in your room.
Traveller's tip on dining
Bubba Gump Shrimp opened at Johns Pass (about 10 minutes away) during our week in St Pete - absolutely awesome food....
