Just what I was expecting for my stay in Madrid

The best is the location. Easy to walk or to get any kind of transportation. Close to many of the basic points you want to know.

Excellent Hotel, Excellent Location

We stayed here for a weekend trip (Friday night to Sunday afternoon) and you can not beat it for location. It is on Madrid’s busiest street sure, BUT, each room has 2 sets of double glazing and so you cant hear anything at night (well thought out). 10 mins walk to everything, very clean and comfortable room, quiet and helpful staff. Avoid the suites as they are a waste of cash - worse bed and just bigger room. The double rooms are two singles pushed together, but this just means a better nights sleep. Excellent place.

Good location, good hotel

The location is a plus, at walking distance of all mayor atractions, restaurants and the metro stations. It is clean, spacious, well furnished, and not a bad price at all.

You can take the metro to and from the Barajas airport using the Plaza España station and changing trains at Nuevos Ministerios. However as in any european city watch your wallet while in any public transportation.
