Great Location, Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms
The location couldnt have been better - especially if you arrive by train. Its about a 3 block walk from the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke great English (as unfortunately we didnt speak much Italian). There was a computer there that anyone could use which worked out great. Our room was always clean and the bathroom was a pretty decent size. There are some restaurants right in the area and the market is right around the corner - which has all sorts of things (shirts, purses, tons of leather items, etc.). We couldnt believe how close we were to everything too. It was about a 10 min stroll to the Duomo (not walking fast) and not much further to other attractions. There was a really good pastry right down the street that had amazing and cheap pastries! If I had to say one bad thing for the picky traveller....I would have to say the bed was the most comfortable - but I dont think we had one in Europe that was. Overall I thought it was a great hotel, the price was very fair, and we would stay there again.

Nice location
We stayed 5 nights, and the location was great. Rooms were small, but very clean; knees hit shower when sitting on toilet. If a bigger person, you would need to upgrade to a bigger room. Only complaint was very bad odor in the air throughout the whole stay. Breakfast was okay, very basic. Window opened up to the courtyard, where our view was of a hot water heater, and a few plants. Not much else to look at, though very quiet room. Would probably stay somewhere else if traveling to Florence again.
