Perfectly acceptable

Good base for a relaxing break, some noise from local bars/clubs. General condition of hotel good, food lovely - despite mass catering. Staff helpful at all times, nice mixture of guests from around Europe.

Traveller's tip on nightlife

Great new bar near the hotel "Friends International" Reggae bar situated near the seafront underneath Parque Santiago II

Excellent!

We booked this as a fairly last minute trip but can honestly say it was fantastic throughout!! Very clean hotel, friendly staff, excellent choice of buffet food and close enough to the town to stagger back from the bars, but not too close that they disturb you all night!!! Excellent!!

Traveller's tip on nightlife

Starcos and Veronicas in the town, with around a hundred different bars/clubs and various other brit-type bars elsewhere!!

Mixed feelings

We were looking for a relaxing sunny break. Luckily we got the sun and the location is central/walkable to most places. The hotel itself had good staff yet was not a 4 star as we would know it, decor could do with updating and the food, although plentiful, was bland, and a real free for all to grab a seat at certain times and dodge people grabbing food and walking around with it to their tables (self service). Half boarders beware, you have to pay for ALL drinks in the evening, inc. water. The hotel was noisy until midnight definitely. Ask for a room away from the road, preferably a sea view at the back of the hotel (they will charge extra if not already booked one).We had to change rooms on arrival to one at the side -marginally less noisy. Not quite as relaxing as we’d hoped. They also charged a daily rate for towels at the pool! First time we heard that one! Hotel entertainment Butlins-esque but fine for a laugh, one night. Many German/Spanish guests, mainly middle aged/seniors which suited us, as opposed to lager lout 20 somethings. All in all, an ’OK’ venue with helpful staff, not as high a standard as expected in a central but noisy location.
