gubbio weekend
fantastically helpful staff, beautiful location, amazing views. Charming service and good value. Design - traditional Italian ( ie 80’s Victoriana) rooms rather dated but the luxury rooms very comfortable. Bathroom we had was v basic. Standard room looked v small. Four stars is pushing it a little but then it is one of the top 3 in the town.

Beautiful Location
Well maintained property in a beautiful and historic building. Terrific, friendly service. Wonderful garden hidden in the middle of the hotel complex. Very nice breakfast. My only caution is that both the town of Gubbio and this hotel are very vertical places and, oddly enough, the elevator starts in the middle of the building. Staff were helpful with our bags to get to the elevator, but if steps are a problem for you this may not be the right place for you to visit.
