Very Noisy Air Conditioning!
Stayed one night. On arrival we were given a room with the air conditioning going full blast. Asked to change immediately and was offered an upgrade (at a price) or a similar room which we visited before commiting. It wasn’t pleasant and the wallpaper was falling off the wall. Went for the upgrade at the back of the hotel and had to close the windows at night (on the hottest weekend) to get some quiet from the noise. Food was very good and at a reasonable price. I wasn’t impressed and won’t go back.

Careful what you ask for....
Apart from the bedroom, it was a pleasant stay. We had requested and paid for a "double" room ( for my wife and I ) but we recieved two single beds. When we questioned it, we were told there were double rooms available but would only be upgraded at some signifagent cost.

Impressive Hotel in Beautiful Setting!
When you come down the long driveway you arrive at an impressive and beautiful structure that takes you back in time. The inside of the hotel is lovely but the rooms are not quite as impressive, however, they are comfortable enough. All in all, a very good value in a quiet and special setting.
