great location on beach and public pool. very relaxing hotel pools and bar. i enjoyed staying here very much.

small shops all around. avoid man trying to sell you pictures with his parrots.

Good hotel on seafront
We loved the hotel as did our two teenage girls (stayed 19th-24th July). Staff were friendly and helpful -kept a cold dinner for us on our late arrival. We stayed half board - good food -disadvantage is that one misses the opportunity to dine out, but can always go out for a drink anyway. A small beach (not crowded) in front of the hotel and a lovely view. Missed coffee and tea facilities in room. Dodgy reviews in the past - but really did not apply to us. One reason why there may be fewer British people may be the flights to North Airport come from the continent. It’s on a pedestrianised area - so didn’t hire car. Didn’t really sample the hotel entertainment (out at night).Nice pools too. Felt best choice for location, and would go back if in Puerto.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Day trip to Teide national park is good - takes you to various places - but not up the volcano. If going to the South Airport - the bus is fine and with the bus card it is even cheaper. Don’t expect perfection, allow for the weak pound, and go with the flow ...

No easy car access to H10 Puerto de la Cruz
Good location in relation to facilities and shops, however, there is no direct car access or any car parking at the hotel. The nearest drop-off point is approx 80m away and the nearest free long stay car park is a brisk 15 minutes walk away along the sea front - fine if you’re fit and the weather is good. Good food, friendly staff.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
The so-called top attraction i on the island (Bananera El Guanche) is no longer open - being redeveloped for housing. We enjoyed the volcanic landscape around Pico del Teide the most. Also worth a visit is the Piramides de Guimar for the Thor Heyerdahl exhibition.
