excellent location
Quiet, clean, efficient hotel- even though located right acroos from the Hauptbahnhof. Could walk to all sites within the Alt Stadt. Post Office across street too.

Ideal for Nuremberg
The Grand Hotel is situated opposite the Hauptbahnhof, which is also only 20 minutes from the airport by S Train. You are right at the egde of the old city walls and only a few minutes walk to everything in town. The hotel is businesslike and our room was modern and clean. The hotel is on a very busy junction of roads and tramways but with the window closed it was silent and no problem at all.
A wander through the old town with all it’s shops, bars and restaurants are from right across the street. There is a huge choice of places to eat and drink in the city.

Didn’t warrant the stars
Great location, interesting hotel but service could have been better. Freindly wait staff countered by not incredibly helpful front desk staff. Will look elsewhere on my next trip to Nurnberg.
