Disappointing Service
As we entered the Hotel Playa Real, I was excited about the pool area and beach front. This is where my pleasure ended however. My husband and I received terrible service from the reception area. Literally, our maid didn’t refill our toilet paper roll and we ran out. I called the front desk and they refused to send some up to our room, even hung up on me. I approached the front desk and the receptionist laughed at me and told me to go get some from the public restroom. Finally, a guest from another room offered to share some from his room. This honestly, was the worst service I have ever received from a hotel and I have traveled in Europe, Asia, South America, Canada and the U.S. I requested surveys from the reception area and not given any. I asked for a manager and never got to see one. I would not recommend this hotel to any traveler.

A good base
Would recommend hotel to be used as a ’base’ which is what we used it for - hardly spent any time there, but was perfectlyfine for that - staff were pretty rude and unhelpful, especially reception, but generally an ok stay. good location for Ibiza town too.
