Would stay here again if in US

Good location. Nice staff. Close to the Marina. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. With a balcony to sit out on if you wanted. Free Internet via the pc in the lobby. Rooms were clean and the beds were fresh and comfortable. Can’t fault the place. If I was on another road trip in the USA and was near here - I’d definately re-book.

Have to ask the front desk to turn on AC or Heat

It’s a very nice hotel in a nice area. It’s well kept. Unfortunately, their air conditioning and heat system is controlled by the front desk / maintenance. So you have to call them to have either the AC or heat turned on. They turn it off completely during the day. So at night it was hot in the room until I got them to turn on the AC and it had time to work and in the mornings it was cold since the outside temperature had dropped lower and I’d have to call the front desk to turn on the heat and wait for it to start working. I’ve never seen a hotel where guests didn’t have total control of their AC and heat in the room before. I like the hotel and have stayed there before, but the lack of ability to turn on the AC or heat in the room is a HUGE negative. The temperature was uncomfortable one way or the other most of the time I was in the room. The front desk staff didn’t answer the phone multiple times either and I had to go down to the front desk physically to ask them to do something about the AC or heat.

Great Moderately Priced Marina Hotel

I needed a quick simple hotel for an overnight business stay in Marina and the International was perfect. Yes, as reviews indicate, it’s not the newest place around. But it was clean, super friendly staff, and the bungalow was awesome. Definitely spend a few more bucks on a bungalow. Mine was huge, clean, nicely appointed, very functional. It was especially nice to have easy private access from the underground parking - literally one minute from car to door. I would for sure book this hotel again.
