Okay place to stay.
When advertised that the property has in room coffee makers you kinda expect more than one cup, and the supplies to be replenished each day. Upon check in to our room after a long day we thought it would be nice to have a cup of coffee but alas there was only one drinking cup and coffee for making just one cup. These supplies were not replenished for the second night and the staff did not seem to care.

Family Reunion.
Erwin only has two hotels and this is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The Indian couple who run the motel are friendly. Of course, the breakfast menu is typical of the cheaper motels..cinnamon rolls, coffee, etc. We didn’t eat there. There is a McDonalds about two blocks from the motel, so we ate there. Other than that, how much can you say about a Super 8 motel. It is what it is.
Not too much I can say about Erwin. There are only two motels in the little town. Rock Creek Park is nice if you like country living. Erwin is a little valley in the midst of a lot of mountains. We had a family reunion there and that is why we went. Erwin is an old railroad town and there is certainly no glitz. But the people are friendly and the mountains are nice. A good country holiday for a day or two.
