The room was clean, the bed was a little hard for my tastes (but that is totally a personal thing), and overall I was satisfied with the room.

Average for the level hotel
We used hotel during power outage from ice storm, as did many other locals and travelers. It was the only hotel showing a vacancy in a 50 mile radius for the days we suspected we would need. Hotel was reasonably clean and the hotel did suspend its no pets policy which was much appreciated. Annoyances that are typical for this grade hotel existed such as TV remote without all functions working, faucet drips, spots on carpet. One safety feature that was worrisome was the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling. Of major concern was the lack of snow and ice removal. It was actually teacherous all the days we were here and there was no salt or ash applied. All surrounding businesses had clean parking lots by day two but this hotel never did anything to assist customers. We did not receive any final receipt upon checkout nor were we allowed to have the impression of our credit card impression when we left. It was OK and I would stay there again but only if it were my only choice.
