Good but not worth the money
We liked it but it was very expensive, as most things were in Russia. The lobby was so smoky we couldn’t wait to get through it. The room carpet was pretty shabby, although the room was fine in general. Room service was good and staff were helpful.
Traveller's tip
Subway was most convenient because it was right outside the lobby door. Great location in that regard.

Novotel Moscow - good mid range hotel
Good location right next to subway station giving easy access to the whole city. If you want to walk to the Kremlin etc, it’s about 20 mins walk. Hotel to western standards, although quite expensive. Reasonable small bar and good free breakfast included in my deal.

Nice Location - Great Breakfast Buffett
My wife and I stayed at the Novotel Moscow Centre for a couple of nights while visiting Moscow on 9/8/09. We thought the location was great, being right on top of the Metro and close to many restaurants / shops. The breakfast buffett was excellent, with numerous choices and a great coffee / expresso drink machine. The price was very reasonable, considering this is Moscow City Center and most other hotels were at least $100 more expensive. The only downside was that one of the main lights blew out on the second night and was not fixed during our stay. I would however highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Moscow.

This hotel is very reasonably priced, in a central location on top of a Metro station and your stay includes a great breakfast buffett.
