Practical, Comfortable and Very Welcoming
The hotel was more impressive when we arrived than I had expected. We had booked a family room which turned out to be a twin and a double with bathroom - great because we could put the children to bed and be next door. It was clean and comfortable but it would have been nice to have had extra blankets or a duvet as there was only a sheet and thin blanket on the beds. The bathroom was very very small but it was very clean. Only real fault was that the lamp between the childrens beds had an exposed wire. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good - although a better choice of fruit and cereal would have been welcome. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others
Traveller's tip on dining
The Banana Leaf Apollo wasnt far away (in Lonley Planet Guide) and worth a visit. Just around the corner from the hotel was a Tandoori restaurant which was very good indeed. Great area to walk around. Very noisy and colourful and lively
