Excellent place to stay in Krabi!!!
We recently stayed at the Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort from October 3-7. We originally picked it based on it being located on the beach. When we arrived at the airport we had arranged ahead of time for the Sheraton’s shuttle bus to pick us up and take us to the Sheraton. The price was very reasonable and the ride was well worth it! The driver was nice and drove very carefully. It took us about 45 minutes to get to the resort. Once we arrived at the resort we were amazed at how beautiful it was. The check-in was simple and we were greeted with a cold washcloth and glass of lemon tea! The staff was so friendly and accomodating. They would even give us rides on the golf cart from our room to the lobby when it was raining. The rooms were very spacious with your own secluded private balcony. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was large and the shower was excellent with great water pressure. The food was excellent but on the pricy side. But we did have the buffet every morning and highly recommend it! Most of the time we would explore and leave the resort and have lunch/dinner somewhere within walking distance. The pools were relaxing and very clean. There were plenty of beach chairs to go around and even some on the beach and near the ocean! The beach was freshly groomed a few times a day and you can walk in either direction for quite a while. What an exotic, tropical getaway! We will definitely be back to the Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort!
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Definitely take a trip to Ao Nang. Sheraton has a shuttle that goes about 5 times a day. There is lots of shopping and if you do not like to shop catch a boat ride to a close island for the day. Make sure to barter when shopping because they expect you to and their starting prices are pretty high. Book an elephant ride/tour too. We had an amazing time and really got to see a lot of the rainforest. The Sheraton will be able to suggest a good tour for you so just ask.

Fab hotel
Fantastic location, staff so friendly and helpful,nothing was to much trouble. The grounds and the beach were great and pools are fantastic place to relax. We will be back.

Amazing Resort
This resort is like something out of a James Bond film, amazing place. Staff were all excellent and very pleasant. Location is a in a quite part of Krabi about 10 miles from Ao Nang, but is ideal if you want to get away from it all. Quite a few shops and restuarants outside hotel but they have everything you could need. The whole area has a very welcoming atmosphere. The hotels food is expensive so try and eat at the local places on the street outside.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Try the day trip to Phi Phi, amazing tour. Also right outside the hotel look for the Orchid massage sign and look for a hut next to it, there will be man there who can get you what ever you need at an excellent price, from Laundry to scooters he has it all.
