A Good Place To Relax

This is a good hotel. The food there was excellent. The hotel is spread out over a long beautiful beach so it can appear a bit quiet at times. Most of the staff were great and always very helpful. If I was being picky then some of the propeties could do with a repaint (outside), and the gardens need a bit more attention, but that is me nitpicking. There are three lovely restaurants all doing very good quality food. If you want a late checkout then book it early. We left it until the last minute and had to use another smaller room for the last few hours - it was a bit of a pain but was okay

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

If you want to go on trips say on a boat round the island then do it early and book at the hotel, not from the vendors on the beach, as these may not cover you on insurance

Excellent Getaway

My wife and I loved our stay at Galley Bay. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive to all our needs. Service and food were excellent. It was easy to understand why some guests return year after year to the resort.

Traveller's tip on dining

Catherine’s Cafe on English Harbor was a gem of a French restaurant.

Great place to read, relax and enjoy peace and quiet.

Hotel staff members were great folks! Owner/management appeared to be a bit "stand-offish" from everyone. But, of course, it was likely before the season and the resort guest population was fairly small. Good food, great service and friendly staff.
