Great Room for the Money
I was surprised with this hotel for the price. It was very clean and roomy. It was also fixed up like a business type room with recliner and a very big desk for use of your laptop. Additionally, it was convenient to shops, restuarants and interstate.

Not a good hotel.
The stay at the hotel was ok. The room was clean and easy to get to. All we were doing was a 1 night lay over on our trip. What really upsets me is I got charged by Hotels.com and the hotel charged me. And because of the way that I handle my finances I received 2 over draft charges from my bank because the hotel charged me twice. They said that it was going to be refunded last Sunday, it’s been 4 days and nothing has been done. Now they are telling me that they will not refund the charges. I contacted the corporate office for Howard Johnson and they weren’t much help. Hotels.com customer service is going to get contacted as well as a complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau. The staff at the hotel really didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing when it came to checking in a customer that paid online. I wasn’t even asked for ID showing who I was. And then I got double charged for the room. This is enough to not recommend this hotel, or to stay there again. Also during the stay the AC quit working, they wouldn’t send someone to look at it nor would they let us change rooms. The AC eventually started working again, but only after the room got uncomfortably hot. If I was staying more than 1 night I would have been very angry.
