Now I know what my Mom was talking about when she said pigsty. I have traveled to Costa Rico, Mexico, Guatamela and many states in the U.S. I have never encountered a place like this one. We checked in and they gave me a smoking room. I was moved after I went back to the desk. My daughter wanted to swim. The pool was so cold she wouldn’t even go in it, she goes in everything. She said,"Mom this place is creepy." Long story shorter, I called the desk at 1:30 in the morning because my bed was so uncomfortable, I could feel the springs everywhere. I couldn’t sleep. I was told I needed to wait till the manager got there at 9:00 a.m. I called Expedia and told them I wanted to move to another hotel. The manager didn’t get in till 10:00. I was already packed and on my way out. They charged me for two nights and I was there about 14 hours. The bathroom was so fithy when I dropped my toothbrush I threw it away. There was hair everywhere and something brown on the vanity which I didn’t investigate any further. I could go on and on but you get my drift. Stay away.

Needs improvement

For starters, the rooms Ac was coated with dust. I had to clean the filter for myself. The tile floor was sticky, the towels were rough, the mattress was old and you could hear the springs one time the springs gave off a boing and this was just sitting on the bed. The hall way railing was sticky and dirty. Even though I was in a non smoking room it still smelled like smoke. The pool area needed up keep as well. The tile cove was missing in many areas.their was algee growing along the upper part of the pool walls. One or two of the globes on the lights was missing and the others were different shades of white due to age. In the pool powder room, their was a thick layer of dust along the upper ledge. The ceiling of the pool area had long strans of paint hanging off the ceiling. Some up to 24" long. The over all feel of the property is of those who dont really take pride in their management of the property. Most of the issues were simple matience and care issues. The place has a lot of potential if it was cared for more and kept up. The people who worked there were friendly and pleasent though.

Medical

I was there on business. and did not stay all my time in the hotel. I left a day early and he was not able to give me a check out receipt. Do I get a day back for leaving early. I paid for all of my days up front.
