Nice!
Hotel Location ...good. Reception & Staff...friendly and helpful. Room ... big, clean, quiet. Dining.....breakfast was fine but dinner was bad. Eat elsewhere p.m.
During our visit transport was free for one day...Mobility Day. Not sure how often Lisbon does this but subway/trains etc. were free for the day. Did both ends of city this day but equally you could head to the Coast, Sintra for free. Nice suprise!

Great room for the money
We had been traveling for 10 days and were delighted to discover our newest room was huge, light and very comfortable. We faced the back of the hotel so it was very quiet. The bathroom was equally commodious. The breakfast was amazing-eggs for the first time as well as anything you could want. The staff spoke english and were well informed and helpful. We were close to the metro and could walk to many interesting spots. Cabs, the metro and airbusses provided multiple options depending on your individual needs.

Very pleasant, reasonable price
Compared to the other downtown Lisbon hotels I checked, the Turim was moderately priced, so I expected a moderately good hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by how upscale looking the lobby, restaurant, and room were. The room was very large by European standards and it was very comfortable. The staff was fluent enough in English and very polite and helpful. Two small quibbles: the walls were somewhat thin and the towels were definitely showing their age. But those things would not stop me from staying there again.
