Not impressed
Whatever you asked for in terms of "extra" services (LAN connection, adaptor...) you had to pay extra, on top of an already pretty dear room charge. Sure you can get better deals.

Out of the Way
The hotel is very nice, but is so far out of the way. Kyoto is a great city stay in town and travel to your conference. It was a good deal though. Also, the subway stop shuts down early and you have to walk a long way in the dark (no street lights) to get back to the hotel.
