Comfortable and good value for money
The Mercure Les Deux Alpes is located on the outskirts of the village, several hundred feet above it. It has excellent views, especially from the balcony outside the bar. I found the hotel comfortable, well-run and good value for money. There is a ski lift next to the hotel, but this only runs in winter. If you are summer skiing you have to use the Jandri Express lift which is about a kilometre away. This would be my only criticism of the hotel: if you go in summer you need a car, otherwise it’s an excellent place to stay.

If you’re summer skiing don’t forget that sun block is essential - I did forget and was badly sunburnt!

Good half board place to stay in summer
The hotel was clean, and the top floors had great views of the village and surrounding mountains. The half board catering was very good and made the stay great value for money.
