will book for our third visit
This is a four star hotel and lives up to its rating.The rooms are very well furnished. We had a problem with a noisy radiator and were quickly moved to another room of a higher quality.The food is of a very high standard,it even satisfies my wife who was trained as a chef and knows good cooking when she sees it.The location of the hotel is first class and with a car park at the rear of the hotel is a good spot to be. This was our second visit to this hotel having also stayed at two other four star hotels in Seefeld,both of which were good but not in such a good location for a couple of old fogies.We found all the staff at Die Post very welcoming and most spoke English well,especially the restaurant staff.We also noticed that some also could speak Italian and French. If you don’t go DeLuxe and need a computer then there is one in the reception area. We can recommend this hotel.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Seefeld is full of activities for all ages.Although on this visit we had a car,we have found the ’circular bus’ a real asset for getting about the town (free for those with guest cards) and the bus linking the main areas in the district is also useful. The train, which we have also used to visit Innsbruck,Salzburg and Munich is also clean and quick,as well as quite cheap.The Olympia swimming pool is currently being rebuilt and looks like it will be even better when completed.
