Good value in sleepy but convenient location
This hotel was a great value considering the prices of other hotels in Tokyo and had great views and comfortable, if a tad small, rooms. The location is amidst a newly built office district, and if you are there on the weekend, it feels a bit like a ghost town. However, Shiodome and Shinbashi station are right next to you and Ginza is just a 10-15 minute walk away, as is the Tsukiji fish market (which I have to say is the real treat as everyone wants to go back to bed after waking up at 4:45am to see the fish). Shinjuku and Shibuya are only a subway ride away, but if you are in Tokyo to party then prob stay in one of those locations and not here. Finally, the concierge had serious attitude and was frankly not helpful. After I asked her for restaurant recommendations in about four different ways, I was told that the type of meal I was seeking was probably too expensive for me and was offered no recommendation. I was frankly appalled, and cannot praise the service here, even though overall it was fine.

beautiful view of the tokyo tower
the hotel was very conveniently located, close walking distance to the fish market. by accident, i paid an extra day on expedia, not realizing the time difference, so that was a bummer to pay for an extra day when i was leaving for the airport.
Traveller's tip
it was odd that men were behind the desks and bellman was actually a bell woman and I had to ask my boyfriend help her with the luggage. not cool with that. but overall, very friendly, but doesnt bend rules like america.
