tiny but nice
The hotel was very sweet except that the room I had, although it had a nice view through the leaves, was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. There was no desk and I could hardly fit between the furniture. Comfortable bed and good water pressure though. I suspect there are bigger ones and would suggest asking for one.

Just quality...
We had an excellent stay. The room was perfect with an impressive view of the river Bosphorus. Very good breakfast. The staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there. I would improve the signposting because it was a little bit difficult to find.

Hotel Poem
We had a wonderful six days in Istanbul, which were all the better for such a lovely hotel. Hotel Poem is brilliantly located for all of the attractions in Sultanahmet. The views from the roof terrace of the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sophia and the mouth of the Bosphorus were stunning. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well-appointed and the breakfast buffet was lovely. Highly recommended.
