Formulaic but pleasant enough
We booked a 2 night stay in a Junior Suite for a special occasion and found this hotel to be very clean and pleasant with a good quality of furnishing and finish and good service. The food in the restaurant and bar was all very good and the health club and spa are well appointed and not too busy (we were there mid-week). The only gripes are that extras (like drinks, internet access, room-service etc) are not cheap and I think priced with the business traveller in mind.

LITTLE OASIS
Hotel is close to Shrewsbury but is in a little oasis of its own. Old school house in a lovely setting. My room was in stable wing and was a good size and comfortable as well as secure. I did not use pool but looked fine. Had dinner in the restaurant where all staff were friendly (as was receptionist) and food was tasty. Would use this hotel again if in the area.
