Debby - St. George Hotel
Although some initial problems with check in due to language problem, the lady on reception had limited English, and she couldn’t find our reservation, once this was resolved by the arrival of her daughter, everything proceeded smoothly. The hotel was in a nice area, was clean and comfortable and I would stay there again.

Not a bad place to stay. Away from the madding crowds but close to station to get places.

Basic but clean
Not the friendliest welcome but the room and bathroom were clean. Would have been nice to have both doors on the wardbrobe and a lift since I was on the fourth floor with eight flights of stairs! Good bars and restaurants nearby. Would recommend better directions from the tube to the hotel to be posted on their website. Breakfast was ok but would have been nice to have more options that just cornflakes and toast if you didn’t want a cooked breakfast.
Highly recommend the Kazan Turkish restaurant on Wilton Rd. Never tried Turkish food before but was very impressed. Excellent service and food
