Breakfast chaotic
Our room was very small. Service at breakfast was chaotic on several days. Not enough staff.Staff not properly organised. Shortage of fresh fruit . Unacceptable delays in getting served. Tables not cleaned between guests. Evening menu uninspiring and overpriced. Swimming pool not open - considered unacceptable.

Needs work
The room I stayed in had a broken window and a small bottle wedged in it to stop it rattling. Not impressed.

A bit out of the way
Nice hotel but no lift. Our room had an excellent view of the hotel opposite with the sea behind it. The food is okay, hot. The nearest town, Charlston, is worth a visit and its museum. But its quite a long walk along a path which is hemmed in by hedges most of the way so you cant see very much.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The Eden Project, Fowey and Megavissey are worth visiting. Charlston is okay for "pub grub". The Cornish pasties at the Eden P were good.
