Perfect base for Port Aventura and not too far from beach
My wife and i stayed there for 2 days whilst we went to Port Aventura theme park, we found it the perfect base for this and also that the beach was only 10-15 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel also lays on a free bus that transports you to either the beach or the theme park and brings you back. The hotel was very well equiped with gym,pool,sauna etc. and all the staff were very helpful with any needs we had. The food was of a good standard but i found a little cooler if you got from the main buffet part. The room was very nice but i found the mattress uncomfortable...although my wife didnot. All in all i would return to the hotel without a second thought...TOPS MARKS TO YOU ALL AT THE HOTEL!!!!
Port Aventura theme park....could be a better layout but if you want to go...buy your tickets from the hotel as when we were there you got a second day free with the ticket taking the 44 euro price to only 22 per day wich is very good.

Enjoyed the stay but
We enjoyed our stay but we have to say that the staff are not very friendly or helpful. We wanted to book an excursion for the Thursday of our stay. On the board in reception it said the particular boat trip was on a Thurs but when asked at reception we were told it was only Tuesdays, they made no apology for the fact the wrong day was written up. Also our check-out was conducted without the receptionist having to say a word to us! Other that that the hotel was a pleasant place to stay.

Great - thoroughly recomended
Great stay in Sept - quiet location, food great, clean room, great pool, fab ’English’ pub (my husband wanted the watch the football!) - barman couldn’t do enough for everyone in the bar. I’d thoroughly recommend.
TIP: if you have children it may be better to request a room which is not pool facing as the entertainment is played from the pool area.
