Value for excellent location
Excellent location. A minute’s walk from the West Nanjing Road metro station. There are lots of restaurants nearby, including two Hong Kong dessert shop. Across the street is a backyard street selling local food, nice BBQ food like oyster and meat there, However, the hotel is on master air condition system, meaning no control on room temperature. Also, uncomfortable and hard bed.
Great if you want good location for shopping and dinning. Don’t expect much inside the room, simple and basic.

only plus is that it’s near the subway bed was much too hard no A/C control- the room was way too hot no wireless internet as advertised

Safe location - good value
Enjoyed being steps away from entrance to subway. Nice full breakfast included. Appreciated the internet connection - had my laptop. Variety of restaurants within walking distance. Felt very safe there, even in evening. Arrived after Maglev closed, but was able to go to airport on subway line 2 to Maglev station and to airport. If you arrive during day, you can walk inside the airport terminal directly to the Maglev station and take it (US$6) to Line 2 to hotel (one stop after Peoples Square). Some areas have escalators, but you may have to carry bags up/down steps.
