Strozzi - great location, very noisey
Apparently nights in downtown Florence are noisey and don’t slow down until about 4:00a. Strozzi is well located for touring, but the street noise after about 10p was terrible. We had to have ear plugs and even that wasn’t enough to fend off 1 reveler that was celebrating 2 nights in a row at about 4:00a. Yes, we had the windows closed tight ... it helped, but not enough. Other than that, I’d recommend Strozzi.
For best food and better prices, don’t eat in restaurants recommended in travel guides .... go for the ones that are crowded with locals.

Good location, Need some maintenance
The hotel had a very good location. The breakfast buffete was just ok. The room were big, but with a lack of maintenance, our carpet have several spots.

Not impressed
Room was very old fashioned, extremely unlike the web site photos. First had trouble with the Air Conditioning, then inadequate plug points for charging and finally - a double bed when requested for a Queen Bed
