Nice hotel.
Public transport a little erratic and road busy to walk along so ideally a car would be good.

Better than expected
Other reviews suggested the hotel was ok but the restaurant was awful. We ate in the hotel twice and received good service and good food - pizza’s were particularly nice. The best place to eat/drink is in Mondello itself which is a 45 min walk to the centre. The first 15 mins is on a busy road but all in all it’s a pleasant walk and good for building an appetite - especially if you’ve been lazing around the pool all day. Taxi’s for the journey back cost in the region of 20 euro’s. The hotel has access to a private beach in Mondello which is worth taking advantage of (for a small fee). The beach is small but situated in front of the victorian bath house. Mondello is a very lively and busy place in contrast to the quieter area of Addaura. The hotel pool area is very pleasant, clean and constantly supervised. We had a very relaxing, stress free week.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
There is a free bus service - No. 86 - between the hotel and Mondello beach which runs regularly (every 25-30 mins). Palermo is worth a visit and only about 30 mins on the bus which you can catch outside of the hotel. Addaura does not have may restaurants but there is a pub 2 mins from the hotel which is great for lunch and a restaurant 2 mins form the pub that is good for lunch and dinner.

Good value, but location not great.
The hotel was OK, but the location was not great as there is not a lot to do in Mondello - very few bars and restaurants.
