Great Location and Excellent Value
The Ocean Club Hotel met my expectations well. We stayed in a studio unit (bldg B) that was just around the corner from the pool, Cabana Bar, and beach. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced and reasonably strong. Grounds and pool area were clean and well-kept. Bar menu was pretty decent, so really no need to go anywhere else during our short 1-night stay. Beach is beautiful and wasn’t at all crowded. Plenty of shaded lounge chairs on the beach for guest use. Room was simple but clean and comfortable. Bathroom vanity, countertops, and toilet seemed new - tub was a little worn. Small kitchenette w/ full-size fridge. Quiet room - slept like a rock. Not a really fancy place, but I doubt you can find a better value this close to such a beautiful beach.

Didn’t feel like a hotel, felt like home
This reminded me of a home with many condo type buildings. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the bar on hte beach was great!!! Many of the locals spoke highly of it. The grounds were tropical and reminded me of some of the places I have stayed in the south Pacific. We will come back!!!

My 8 year old did SNUBA while I Scuba dive along with him and it was great!!!!

Reasonable value but tired
Stayed 2 nights on business. Location is fantastic but the hotel is now dated and tired compared to others around. However this IS reflected in the price as it is good value against most others in the area. A 3 star hotel. If money is tight it is a good choice, but i would pay more and go elsewhere next time.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
taxi from airport was US$30, but the hotel shuttle was only US$10 and they used a taxi service to provide this - so agree the taxi price before you get in.
