In need of face lift
I chose this hotel because of it’s location and historic purpose as I was on business and the hotel is well known. However, it falls very short of it’s star rating. It’s old, tired looking and needs a make over. Food is good and rooms are fine if you like the dark wood traditional look. You do feel safe here though as there are several staff about. The TV though is prehistoric as are the the viewing channels. There’s no literature to indicate what’s to see in Jeddah in the rooms or the lobby. And the staff were not much help on this matter either. I won’t go back.
