Tour Groups!
A nicely positioned hotel in downtown Cape Town with good rooms and good service. Unfortunately, they are mainly geared up to deal with large tour groups and the bar & restaurant can get clogged up. Car parking is by valet parking, which is fairly expensive and not very convenient (they need 30 mins notice to get you car out of the parking). There is a fun market right outside the hotel, which is nice unless you have a room on the front, from where you will be woken early to the sounds of the stalls being built each morning - inc Sunday.

3 night stay
Would recommend this hotel especially for the extremely good price for such a great central location with the market literally outside the front door. Staff were efficient without being over friendly. Can’t comment on bar or restaurant as didn’t use them - plenty of other options nearby. There were some rattling noises in the night, maybe due to service shafts - we were in room 218 right at the end of a corridor - we would perhaps have sought a different room had we be staying longer than 3 nights.

Clean, friendly & welcoming
Efficient, well trained staff and a smart clean hotel - nice haven amongst the bustle of Greenmarket Square. Good bar and restaurant too.
Traveller's tip
Hotel uses the Christian Barnard Memorial Hospital car park. Might be cheaper to park there yourself rather than use hotel’s valet parking - which is entirely at your risk.
