Basic and walking distance to O’Connell Street

This is a pretty basic older hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. It is a bit of a hike from lower O’Connell Str and the main bus lines from the airport. The rooms are functional. Reasonably clean and a fair value for the money. Ask for a room that has been refurbished if one is available. The restaurant is good for dinner. The breakfast buffet is fair, but you can go down O’Connell street for some excellent pastries and breakfast. There is free wireless internet in the lobby.

If you want to get a great quick visual tour of the history of Ireland the National Museum of Archaeology and History is the place. The collection of Irish gold is stunning, particularly the story behind how it has been found.

Definitely worth It

We arrived in Dublin 8 hours before check in. The hotel staff stored our bags at no cost and expedited the readiness of our room while they gave us a discount to the superb breakfast buffet. Bottom Line: Great Location; quick walk to almost everything in Dublin, and not to mention one of the most hard working, friendly, and accommodating hotel staffs period.

Definitely on my return to list

Only problem was the toilet it was noisy when flushed so at night we limited the use so we would not disturb others. The clerks went out of their way to assist us
