Not impressed
We were upgraded which was nice but the room had the noise of a generator coming through the wall plus if you opened the window there was loud noise out there as well. We were meant to be on the 6th floor but for some odd reason ended up on the 3rd. Im glaswegian so no I would not reccomend this hotel.
There are lots of good restaurants, fine dining or reasonable budget. Try the speciality pies in The Drum and Monkey or the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties in Waxys.

good location
this hotel was in a good position just a quick walk to central station and shops and can get the tour of glasglow just out the front of this hotel which a good place to start check out glasgow

only thing we found is seemed to be more resturants around george square

Great location
Great location, very comfortable and spacious room. I was in Glasgow for a short stay and was very impressed with the hotel. The hotel is just across the street from the central rail station and a short walk from all the main shopping streets & pubs / clubs. The city tour leaves from right outside the hotel too.
