Secluded getaway
If you need to get away from it all than this is a great place to go off season. But if you are looking for night life wrong place to go. During our stay the beach was under water the restaurants stop serving dinner at 10pm and the latest bar stayed open til 3 am. The staff was pleasant and the room was outdated but clean and affordable.

Great Time
We had a great time. The hotel was a little dated but very clean. Everyone that worked at the hotel were extreamly helpful despite some of the other reviews. All rooms have great views of the ocean. When I go back to Bermuda I will stay at Surf Side again!
Traveller's tip on local attractions
There is a market near the hotel, it can help you save a little money. A cheap meal is $20 at a resturant. Rent a scooter!!!!!!!!!! We drove around the island for hours a day. I would not recommend the bus. The hotel will call a scooter rental place for you and have them pick you up.

Good location, old hotel
This is a nice hotel based on its location, however, it is old fashioned and dated. That said the place was spotlessly clean and tidy. If you want something basic and tidy this is the one, nothing fancy about Surf Side. Good restaurant and nice restaurant staff.
