Brilliant Brunswick on a budget
We took the standard double room for a mid-week break. Great value at 65 quid per room per night including breakfast. Room was small, but very well appointed - fine with us. Even had a tub! Only downside: it was extremely warm due to unusual Scottish weather. Many upsides: really friendly staff, lovely bar next door open 7am until 1am, with very good food (see below).
Traveller's tip on dining
We’d really recommend the restaurant ’Brutti ma Buoni’ next door to the hotel. We felt lazy going there as soon as we arrived, but great staff, lovely outdoor seating, and great, reasonably priced food were just what the doctor ordered. Try some of the more unusual fish dishes - top rate. And Peroni on tap!

Perfect!
This was the perfect location. I got upgrade as it wasn’t too busy which was very nice of them and the room was great. A big thums up also for the lovely restaurant. The food was great. I will be back.....
