Great location and good value for money

Lovely hotel full of interesting architectural features. Stayed on 4th floor in small double room overlooking courtyard. Vey quiet and peaceful for city centre location. Close to everything required for a short city-break e.g. restauraunts, bars, shops and transport. Great breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.

Gamla Stan by foot. Wandering around the old town’s narrow streets lined with shops, cafes and restaurants is worth the trip to Stockholm alone. Other highlights were the boat trip to the archipelago and having a ’Monk’s light’ nightcap in Monks Bar after a busy day’s sightseeing.

Charming and convenient

Nicely located a 10-minute walk from the Central Station on one of Stockholm’s most popular shopping streets. Older building tastefully renovated. Excellent breakfast buffet, very helpful staff. No air conditioning, which is not generally a problem in Stockholm, but the first night I was there it was very warm. Room 309 has a lovely old tile oven as a feature.

Further up the street on the same side is an incredibly good restaurant called "Grill". Not cheap, but 3 people with drinks was around 1,000 sek and the food was well cooked and presented. The decor was marvelous and I can’t wait to go back again.

Right on the hot spot

The hotel is located right at the prime location so it was no problem finding a place for dinner and shopping. However, the room was small and it wasn’t so clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
