Good hotel near Venice
Nice hotel which we booked on our son’s recommendation on our way to Slovenia. Only problem was finding it from Treviso airport - it took us ages although it was dark!

Great location - Met our needs
This location is perfect for day trips into Venice. It was less than 5 minute walk to train station (but we never heard the train from our room!) Trains were convenient and inexpensive. The breakfast included was excellent and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We parked right in front of the hotel and did not move our car while we were there. We saw other people dragging their luggage through the Venice streets and up the bridges and were very happy with our decision to stay right outside the city. It was the right price too! The only disappointment was while we booked a quadruple, we were given a room with a king bed & a single roll-away.

Cheap and handy for Venice but not 4 star
This was the cheapest hotel we could find and was handy for Treviso airport (20 - 30 minutes drive), and also very handy for Venice - a 5 minute walk to the train station, and only a 20 minute ride in on the train. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but not 4 star by any stretch of the imagination - more like a convenient motel room. The lights in the bathroom didn’t work and the staff, although trying to be helpful, weren’t able to do anything about it. The food at breakfast was very basic but edible. Coffee bad!
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
When you want to fill up your hire car before return to the airport, you need cash for the self-service petrol stations, either 5 or 20 Euros - British credit cards don’t seem to work. On a Sunday, the self-service are all open, but you have to help yourself!
