Would not Stay again
I stayed in the smallest room I have ever known. The bed was so soft in the middle at times it felt like I was in the sitting position. My room was at the front of the hotel and every time any kind of traffic came past it was so loud it would wake me.

Very impressed - I’ll stay here again if I’m back in Reading!
Myself & my colleague stayed at The George Hotel for 2 nights at the end of january & were very impressed. The hotel was clean & quiet with cosy, decent-sized rooms. The staff were excellent - friendly, informative & helpful. The location was brilliant, right next to a choice of coffee shops, The Oracle shopping mall, a multiplex cinema & lots of nice restaurants. It was only a 5 minute taxi ride from the station & 10 minutes to Reading University. I have never written a hotel review before but felt that I wanted to as we had such a good experience.

rooms were okay, just the bed was very soft , hotel is really central but could do with been updated
