Excellent Service
My new wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris. The desk staff all spoke very good english and were extremly helpful. When we arrived we were clued in on the best way to get to the places we wanted to see. We were also given an excellent tip for lunch. The staff helped with supplying wine openers and on hand 24 hours a day. The rooms are exactly as advertised (small) but we knew that and spent little time there.

Basic and comfortable
We were in Paris for the French Open tennis so were looking for a place to stay that was affordable, comfortable, clean and had good service. That’s exactly what we got. Would have been good to have had a proper shower in the room as opposed to a hand held one in the bath. But overall we were very happy with our stay there.

I don’t understand the haters
I was traveling alone; the single room was small, which is to be expected in a big city hotel, but clean and adequate -- who goes to Paris to spend time in their hotel room? Great bakery a few blocks northeast (ave. de Versalles at rue Chapu, 4 min. walk). From nearby bus stop, line #72 is 20 minutes to Louvre. Metro station is 6 min from hotel. Cheap internet, but WiFi is free at the McDonald’s 5 min. away on Ave. de Versailles near the Porte de St. Cloud metro station.
