Possibly the best place to stay if you’re out & about in Downtown Palo Alto.
This hotel is just off University st. (the main downtown road) so you can walk to whatever you need. My advice would be to ask for a room overlooking the front of the hotel.

Excellent downtown stay
Classic, comfortable, "old Stanford ambiance". Excellent service, clean room. Close to downtown restaurants and meeting spots.
