Great hotel!
The hotel grounds are GORGEOUS! This place is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a city. Pool in the middle of the gardens feels like a little piece of paradise. Rooms are very comfortable, quiet, and the balcony overlooking the gardens add to the experience. Ill certainly go back!

Great Hotel
The garden of this hotel is worth the money alone. It is large and beautifully kept. I went in November and everything was in full bloom and totally gorgeous. The 2 tennis courts are well kept and like new. The swimming pool is very clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The food was some of the best I have ever tasted. I particularly recommend the Sea Bass and the home made fruit pie is amazing! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotless. I recommend this hotel. I didnt find anything I didnt like about it!
My favorite trips were La Paz Waterfalls, complete with humming birds, toucans and many other birds, leopards, butterflies and monkeys and Tabacan Hot Springs that were fed from the Arenal volcano.

Gardens are worth the price!
A lovely hotel with exquisite gardens to explore. Pool is great and food is good, if a little expensive for the area. However, if you are trying to locate the hotel on your own, good luck!! There are no street signs anywhere and this hotel is off the beaten path a bit. You must have a good sense of direction. I would recommend this to a friend. However, I made reservations and know I confirmed for 2 adults and 2 kids. They charged us extra for the kids when we got there so it cost more than anticipated.
We took a taxi to our hotel where the front desk called a car rental company who dropped the car off at the hotel. It didnt cost any more than the price at the airport and saved us the hassle of going back to the airport, plus we didnt have to locate the hotel at night on our own.
