great price, nice views
You can’t beat the price and location. It was nice to stay in a hotel that wasn’t in a "hot spot", and was only a short bus ride away to Positano, where lots of shops/restaurants are. The bed I slept in was awful...the view from my room was nice, so it made up for it. The restaurant food in the hotel was pretty good, small portions though. It is a 10 minute walk to a really good restaurant, but the walk back to the hotel is kind of tiring because it is up the hill. Overall, we got our money’s worth! The family that owns it and all the staff were extremely nice and very helpful!

Fantastic hotel
This hotel was lovely, fantastic staff, family run, all extremely friendly. The views from the balconies were beautiful and breakfast on the veranda with these views was breathtaking. The food was good, the service was great. I would fully recommend this hotel if you are off to the amalfi coastline.

Was ok. View was the best part.
Not the best hotel. The service at Hotel Margherita, just a few steps up the road, was by far superior to Hotel Holiday’s. The best part of Hotel Holiday is their balconies overlooking the bay, with two lounge chairs. That was it. Keep in mind that they will charge you extra (5 euros/day) for air conditioning ... NOT included in the rate quoted to you by Expedia. Internet is also not free.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
To escape the expensive Italian restaurants, walk down to the bottom of this street and you will find a great little grocery store with very cheap but excellent quality foods and drinks, including a decent wine cellar in the basement. Highly recommended!
