Great Price, Great Location
The Hotel Naviglio Grande is a great choice for those economically minded. The rates were great. The rooms were clean and the hotel is efficiently run. The hotel itself is a little worn. The carpet and walpaper are in a worn condition, but the rooms are very clean and include the basics. The televisions are all new LCD models. Parking is right in front of the hotel. The Hotel is very near the Corsico Plaza, which has some great shops and cafes. There is a great place to get some Chinese Food and Pizza right on the corner. I enjoyed my stay with the hotel. Even though it was a little worn and provided just the minimuns, it is exactly what I was paying for.

Away From The Madding Crowd!
This Hotel is in not in Milan itself, but in Corsico, which is a nice pleasant Italian town just a short bus ride away from Milan’s Metro network. Great for those wanting to wind down after a day in busy and expensive Milan. Hotel was neat & clean. Room had Sky TV, fridge with complimentary bottled water, Soaps, Shower gel, toothpastes etc and a good shower in the bathroom. Bedding & towels were changed daily. Breakfast is continental, buffet style. There’s a good choice but don’t leave it too late as you may find all the fresh bread & pastries have been eaten! Great restaurants / bars / cafes and shops just a few minutes walk from the Hotel.
Milan’s public transport system is named ATM and you can get a ticket for 48 hours unlimited travel on all metro, trams & buses for just 5.5 Euros. This ticket also covers the 325 bus between Romolo metro station and the hotel in Corsico. The bus journey is about 10 minutes and they run very regularly, each day, until about midnight. This ticket allows you to travel anywhere you want at any time and is great value.

Good value
As other reviews have said...if you don’t expect much, you won’t be disappointed. Nothing really stands out, good or bad about this hotel, other than the excellent price - so i fyou need to do Milan on a budget, I couldn’t complain.
Restaurant Leon D’Oro on the other side of the canal (5 minutes walk). Exquisite pizza.
