Very good, friendly etc although getting a touch dated and plumbing was a bit slow!!!
There’s an excellent outdoor eatery up the road from the hotel and dead opposite the lake which is very good.

Not impressed with the service in the restaurant
The hotel was comfortable and clean, but despite my booking being for a ’terrace lake view’, I was on the 6th floor with a tiny balcony (I did have a view of the lake). They had put me in a suite, but as I was travelling alone, paid the extra to have private outside seating I was disappointed, and there were no terrace rooms available. It is a great location right on the lake, and easy walk into town. The attitiude of one of the maitre d’s was miserable, and the food was average. I have never before had overcooked lamb in France, usually have to send it back so that it is warmed through. Not worth the money, and I won’t stay there again.

Very Pleasant Stay
The hotel is beautifully situated on Lac Annecy. It is a bit of a walk to the old town (10-15 minutes) but all in a lovely park setting along the lake. Meals on the veranda were very pleasant, although the breakfast at 25 euros each was quite expensive. The casino is small and only has slot machines. It was a disappointment. The service staff was very pleasant. The only drawback was that I needed an extension cord and they didn’t have one. I had to drive across town for one.
