Wish that we were there now???
The Ambrose was perfect for our needs, plenty of free, secure parking,complimentary continental breakfast, lots of fresh strawberries (all food & drink organic). The location was perfect a few minutes from Santa Monica Pier & Third Street, exactly what we hoped for. We had a lovely stay at The Ambrose and would definately return there again.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Our initial hotel details said that there were tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge, this wasn’t so. The hotel staff said that they had never provided this facility, but said that we could break the seal on the mini bar (very expensive) and use to cool our own drinks. To get a hot drink you would need to use room service, far, far too expensive. A few minutes walk away is a store where we bought a kettle, cups, coffee and milk, problem solved at minimal cost.
