Good city centre hotel
The location in the city centre is ideal, if touring Milan and the shops. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the Central Rail station which is where the Ryanair shuttle bus stops from Bergamo airport. The hotel is well maintained and clean, the amenities are good, although it would have been nice to have a bath, and the rooms are quite small (but predictable for a city centre hotel like this) The spa was well equipped and would be lovely to visit (if you can afford it) Overall a good choice for a short inner city break
Traveller's tip on shopping
The main interest in Milan has to be the shops. Lots of classy expensive shops. The Duomo cathedral is a must see too, but the city itself is not really much of a sight seeing experience

It got better
We booked a room with "two twin beds" for 2 adults and 1 child, however, we were shocked when we went to our room and found it was a tiny room with one queen size bed, no space for an extra bed; in fact, there was hardly any space to walk ! We asked them to change us to a bigger room; it took a little bit of convincing but at the end they did. The end result was good as the room was much bigger, enough space for an extra bed. Location was great, nice breakfast, restaurant staff were friendly but the staff at the reception were not exactly friendly.

Everything you could wish for in Milan
A well run, peaceful hotel with décor and staff of a very high quality. A spa, restaurant and locality make this the ideal place to stay. Within 20 metres of the Metro Line 1 means you can get everywhere speedily.
The restaurant was both excellant and reasonably priced. If you wish for different places to eat, within 100 metres there are more than 12 places to eat which I think are reallty good. I have always looked for restarants where the locals eat as a sign of quality and not just a place that "looks good to a tourist". These are just that type that you are best to go early to gurantee a table!
